I would like to say thank you to Tommy for arranging the weekend trip to Lough Fern.
It was a great weekends craic.
Fishing was not that great with weather conditions being very cold.
It was great to get away on our first trip of the year and i think everyone enjoyed them selves. The Lough Fern men very very good to us with boats and engines and allowing us the use of their club house.

competition report for the Ciaran Duffin Memorial Cup fished for last Saturday the 30th of March .The river was in good condition but the water was very cold. there were a few Trout rising to the dry but once again it was Barry Diamond on the worm taking 1 st place with a nice bag of Trout, in 2 nd  place was Ruth Arrell  with a nice Trout on the Fly ,and in surprise 3 rd  was Patsy Harkin with a nice wee trout bait fishing.A poor turnout today with no Juniors out  perhaps the cold weather was to blame for this. our next competition is this Saturday the 6 th of April, with the Gribbin House Cup for the senior and the Ulster Bank Cup for our juniors ,starting at 10 30am. So hope to see a few more juniors out for this one. Tight lines.
