Charis Fund Raising Competition

The Moyola Angling Association and The Mid Ulster Angling Club got together on Saturday 26th June for there annual Charis Charity fishing competition.

48 Anglers took part and a good few fish were landed.

The Sperrin View Cottages Cup for best boat was won by William Mc Guckin.

The S. H. J Joinery Cup for best bank was won by Joey ONeill.

The J and B O,Kane Decorators Cup for the heaviest fish was won by Robert Paul. And our best junior was Clarke McConkey.

The prizes were donated by Valerie Beattie, George Gourley,Denis Fergusson,Stanley Aspinall, Paul Graham,Crawfords fishing shop Maghera, Huestons fishing shop Castledawson, Robert Paul, and Sean Henry.

A cheque for 671 Pounds was presented to Imelda Mc Guckin Centre Director for Charis.

So a big thanks to everyone .
